Dr Kassiani Giannaki

Biography

Dr Kassiani Giannaki is a Breast Radiology Consultant and is competent in all aspects of breast radiology, including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI’s and all types of interventional procedures.

Dr Giannaki is based at Rutherford Cancer Centres North West and Liverpool University NHS Foundation Trust. She qualified in 2007 from the medical school of Athens in Greece. She holds a PhD in medicine and has been trained in all aspects of radiology and soon after her training, she pursued a Breast Radiology Career.

Dr Kassiani Giannaki completed a 12-month fellowship as a Breast Radiologist at Royal Liverpool Hospital prior to being appointed as a Consultant. She participates fully in the breast unit in both symptomatic and screening service and is active in the audit trials and research. In an effort to deliver the best patient care, Dr Giannaki has been an active member of the breast team, working alongside Surgeons and Oncologists.
