Carefully measured doses of protons are delivered to the precise area needing treatment, using the latest IBA ProteusONE technology. This ensures that the delivery of proton beam therapy is highly accurate and prevents the risk of radiation reaching surrounding healthy tissue.
Radiotherapy is used to kill and destroy cancer cells. Clinical Breast Examination
Breast ultrasound and/or Mammography
Needle Biopsy if a lump is found
We offer tomosynthesis a specialised mammogram this is a diagnostic tool for early detection of breast cancer by producing a high definition 3D image of the breast. Used in conjunction with 2D imaging it gives a more detailed picture of breast tissue.
On your first visit, you will be welcomed to our centre and have a consultation with our breast specialist. During your consultation, you will be able to ask questions, discuss initial symptoms and have the necessary scans and tests on the same day.
